No PHI is saved or recorded
meant is built to run without patient identifiers. Names, addresses, dates of birth, and record numbers are never needed to draft a note — and when paperwork is uploaded, identifiers are removed before anything is stored.
Recording happens only with consent — and never by default
Nothing listens in unless you turn it on. You can dictate your own summary, drop in rough bullets, or scan your handwritten page instead. If you do record the visit, the app first asks you to confirm the patient agreed; the audio stays private to you, is used only to write that note, and deletes itself after 30 days.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Every connection is encrypted, and stored account data sits in an encrypted database with access limited to your own account.
Notes are kept 6 months, then deleted automatically
Photos, recordings, and your original shorthand are never kept. A note is stored only when you choose Save to archive, is visible only to you, and deletes itself after 6 months. You can delete it sooner at any time.
Every note is a reviewed draft
You confirm the note matches the visit before it can be saved or sent. Editing or rewording clears that confirmation so the new wording gets reviewed too.
